Oil cooler lines and seals

The pipes carrying oil to and from the cooler, and the O-rings at their unions.

How you know it is this

  • Oil leaking at a union rather than from the engine itself
  • A chafed or corroded line

Worth knowing before you buy

  • On many cars these run near the exhaust and perish from heat rather than pressure.
  • The O-rings are single-use and specific to oil — a generic ring swells.
  • A line is usually cheaper than the cooler and is worth ruling in or out first.

What we need to quote it. The engine code. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
