Who we supply

Tank cleaning and replacement for Ajman and Sharjah buildings.

Your tank cleaned on the schedule the law sets, with the written record you are expected to keep — or replaced, with the old one taken away.

Ajman requires potable water tanks to be cleaned every six months, or sooner if needed, and only by certified companies — covering residential buildings, schools, mosques, parks, hotels and government facilities. Sharjah requires owners to use SEWA-accredited contractors, and SEWA inspected 283 sites in a single quarter including 189 water tanks.

The date is set by law, not by us

The obligation sits with the building owner, not with whoever supplied the tank, and most owners find that out at an inspection rather than at purchase. Sharjah Municipality and Civil Defence also apply fines to owners for maintenance neglect.

Which rule applies to you depends on the emirate, and each one is set out with its source on our compliance guide.

Clean it, or replace it — we will tell you which

If the tank is sound we clean it and give you the record. If it is past repair we replace it and take the old one away, and if the old unit is still serviceable we buy it back against the new one.

  • Cracked panels, a lid that no longer seals, sediment that returns within weeks of a clean, or water that discolours again soon after — those usually mean the tank itself is the problem, not the cleaning.
  • We say which it is before quoting rather than after, because a clean on a failed tank is money spent twice.
  • Repair, relining and lid or hatch replacement are all cheaper while the tank is already empty and open.

Before you book, tell us your emirate

Cleaning contractors are accredited separately in each emirate — Dubai Municipality, SEWA in Sharjah, and the Ajman scheme. Send us the emirate along with the address and we will confirm what we can carry out ourselves and what goes through an accredited contractor. We would rather say that before the job than after the invoice.

Questions

Straight answers.

How often must a building water tank be cleaned in Ajman?

Every six months, or sooner if the tank needs it, and only by certified companies. The requirement covers residential buildings, schools, mosques, parks, hotels and government facilities.

Who is responsible — the owner or the tenant?

The building owner. It is not the tenant obligation and it is not the responsibility of whoever supplied the tank, which is why most owners discover it at an inspection.

How do I know whether my tank needs cleaning or replacing?

Cracked panels, a lid that no longer seals, sediment returning within weeks of a clean, or water discolouring soon after usually mean the tank is the problem rather than the cleaning. Send a photo and the address and we will tell you which before quoting.

Do you take the old tank away?

Yes, and if it is still serviceable we buy it back against the replacement. That is where a good deal of the refurbished stock on the price list comes from.

Also supplying contractorsfactorieslabour accommodation. The rules behind all of it are in the compliance guide.
