Supplied and delivered in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the longest regular run on our schedule and the one where the delivery is planned rather than squeezed in — a long haul to the island, further again to Al Ain, Ruwais or an ADNOC site inland. Loads are consolidated so the transport is paid once, which on a large order is usually the difference between a competitive price and a merely acceptable one.
On a scheduled run from the yard holding your item.
Arranged with the delivery where your site has no plant of its own.
Including the industrial areas and free zones listed below.
Areas we deliver to in Abu Dhabi
- Mussafah Industrial Area
- ICAD I–III
- KIZAD (Khalifa Industrial Zone)
- Al Ain Industrial City
- Ruwais
Anywhere else in Abu Dhabi is delivered on the same run — the list names the industrial areas and free zones we go to most, not a limit on where we will go.
What Abu Dhabi orders
Oil, gas and infrastructure work, where the specification is written down and has to be met: security fencing to a published standard, large-volume water storage, and site accommodation for remote compounds.
Every standard size carries a published price in AED on its own page. Anything built to your specification is quoted against the drawing.
Delivered to Abu Dhabi
Every range below is carried in the yard and goes out on the same delivery run.
Water tank rules in Abu Dhabi
All stored potable water, with the interval set by what the tank is made of and where it sits. The instrument is named so you can check it yourself.
This code dates from 2015 and the issuing body has since been absorbed into the Department of Energy. Confirm the current edition with DoE before writing it into a contract.
How often must the tank be cleaned?
It depends on the tank. Concrete and GRP tanks underground or at ground level, twice a year. Roof tanks, annually. Plastic, FRP and GI tanks, annually in either position.
Does the contractor need approval?
Yes. Contractor pre-qualification requires an ADDED licence, three years of demonstrated experience, documented compliance and a quality management system. Staff need certification in cleaning and disinfection, EHS, confined spaces and first aid, with supervisors adding life-saving and emergency management. Competency is reassessed every six months.
The full set of UAE rules, by Emirate and by topic, is on our compliance page.
