Buying a tank here meant too many phone calls and too few straight answers. So we publish our prices and pick up the phone.
Lion Yard Trading is a trading company. We supply new and professionally refurbished water tanks, bolted modular steel tanks, shipping containers, portable cabins, jersey barriers and building materials to sites across all seven Emirates.
Most suppliers in this market quote on enquiry. That is not a courtesy — it means the price depends on who is asking. Where we can put the number on the page we do: the water tank and container ranges carry 53 prices in AED, 51 of them with the refurbished figure beside the new one, so the trade-off is yours to judge rather than ours to explain on the phone.
Where a price genuinely cannot be published we say why instead of hiding it. A container conversion is priced on what is cut into the box; a cabin is priced on the layout, the fit-out and the head count; steel pipe moves with the mill. Those tables carry the reason, not a blank.
Our own yard keeps the northern emirates on same-day supply for stock on the ground, and it keeps the paperwork side straight: written quotes with VAT and delivery shown separately, and documentation ready when we deliver.
Getting the right unit to your site, at a price you can check, on a date you can plan around.
Written quotes with VAT and delivery shown separately. No surprise line items on the invoice.
Trade licence number, TRN and the full unit address are available on request — ask for them before you raise a purchase order and we will send them with the quotation.
Water tanks, shipping containers and precast barriers are offered refurbished as well as new — second-hand stock brought back to a grade. That is the whole reason a 10,000 gallon tank can cost what it does here, so it is worth being specific about what has been done to it.
Structurally inspected before it is offered. The condition grade you are quoted — wind and watertight, cargo-worthy, or as-is — is stated up front rather than discovered on delivery.
Water storage is cleaned and disinfected by the same crew that runs our cleaning contracts, not rinsed out in the yard.
Steel is repairable by welding and containers are repainted. Anything that cannot be brought back to its grade is sold as what it is, not as something better.
Six months on a refurbished tank, two to three years on a new one, published on every tank price table. Containers, cabins, hoarding, fencing and barriers are sold without warranty, and we say so rather than leaving you to find out.
Not every line is offered refurbished, and where both grades exist the page shows them side by side — 51 of the 53 published prices do. Where a line is new only, there is no refurbished column to fill in.
Stock carried at our own premises, and jobs finished on site across the Emirates. These are illustrations — the photographs of actual units sit on every product page, next to the prices.
Stock is held and refurbished at our own premises rather than drop-shipped from somebody else's yard, which is why a condition grade can be confirmed before you buy and why same-day supply into Sharjah is possible at all.
You are welcome to come and look at the real thing before you commit to it. Tell us what you are considering and we will have it standing in the yard where you can walk around it.
If your quotation carries a company name you were not expecting, this is why — and it is deliberate.
Lion Yard Trading is the platform you order through. The goods are supplied by licensed UAE trading companies working through it, and each order is issued on the licence that fits its scope. A fencing package, a tank fabrication and a container conversion are not the same trade and do not sit under the same licence.
So rather than turn work away, or subcontract it quietly and hope nobody notices, we bring the company that holds the right licence onto the quotation. Its legal name, its trade licence, its TRN and its bank details are printed there before you commit.
That company is who you contract with, invoice with and pay. It is stated on the document, not discovered afterwards.
Ask us at any point which entity your quotation will be issued on and we will tell you before it is raised.
Two directors, two direct lines. No call centre in between.
