Which water tank do I need?
Three different products sit under one heading and they are not alternatives to each other. Ninety per cent of the decision is settled by two things — where the tank is going, and whether it can get there in one piece. Read this first and you will arrive at the right table already knowing which row is yours.
Start with the doorway, not the volume. A moulded tank — fiberglass or plastic — arrives whole and has to be craned into position. A panel tank arrives flat and is bolted together where it stands, so it will go down a stairwell and into a basement plant room. If the access is tight, that decision is already made for you, and it is worth making before anything else is priced.
GRP Fiberglass
The UAE default for rooftop and ground storage, and the one most villas and buildings already have.
- Best for
- Potable and utility water where a crane can reach the position
- Delivered as
- Moulded in one piece — needs crane access
- Sizes we hold
- 200 – 30,000 gallon
GRP Panel (Sectional)
The answer when the tank cannot be carried in whole, or the space is not the shape of a tank.
- Best for
- Plant rooms, basements, rooftops with tight access, awkward footprints
- Delivered as
- Flat panels, bolted together in position
- Sizes we hold
- 500 – 70,000 gallon
Plastic HDPE
Lighter than GRP at the same capacity and ready to install the same day.
- Best for
- Smaller domestic storage, site and temporary water, quick replacements
- Delivered as
- Moulded in one piece — light enough to handle
- Sizes we hold
- 500 – 10,000 gallon
Steel, industrial and fire reserve
Bolted steel tanks built on site, designed to AWWA D103 and NFPA 22. For heavy duty, fire reserve, and volumes past what a moulded tank can reach.

Send us the space you have — length, width and height — or the volume your consultant specified in cubic metres, and we will tell you which tank fits and what it costs. No obligation and no call centre.

Where this is used.
The jobs water tanks actually do. If yours is not on the list, it is still worth asking — most of what we supply ends up somewhere nobody wrote down.
Rooftop & ground storage
Residential and commercial buildings holding potable water between the mains and the pumps.
Fire reserve
Industrial premises above 3,600 m², where the Fire Code wants two compartments and 60 minutes of pump capacity.
Plant rooms & basements
Sectional panel tanks built in position where a moulded tank could never be craned in.
Labour accommodation
Bulk storage sized against bed count, with the cleaning schedule the inspector asks to see.
Process & cooling water
Factories needing storage that is not potable but still has to be clean, stable and accessible.
Site & temporary water
Construction sites needing storage on the ground quickly, then moved or bought back at project close.
What we can put in front of your engineer.
Ask for any of it against a specific size and you will get it the same working day.
- Dimensions and capacity in gallons, cubic metres and litres for any size on the list
- The compartment split and footprint for a panel tank, worked back from your pump rating and floor area
- Base and plinth requirements, designed for the filled weight rather than the empty one
- Supplier documentation for a specific unit where a standard is written into your specification — or a straight answer that we cannot produce it
We do not publish downloadable datasheets. Where a standard or a certificate is written into your specification, ask us against the specific unit — we will either produce the supplier documentation or tell you plainly that we cannot, rather than leave you to find out at inspection.
What you get with the price.
Stock on the ground
Same-day into Sharjah and the northern emirates for what is in the yard, one to three working days elsewhere.
New and refurbished
Both grades priced side by side on every line, so the budget decision is yours to make, not ours to steer.
Delivered and offloaded
Our own transport across all 7 Emirates, with crane or forklift offloading arranged and quoted before you commit.
Checked before it leaves
Refurbished units are cleaned, repaired and inspected in our own yard rather than shipped on as found.
Bulk and project supply
Send the full requirement rather than line by line — contractor and bulk rates are better than list.
Straight answers
If we cannot meet a specification or evidence a standard, we say so at enquiry stage rather than after the order.
Choosing a water tank
Four different products sit under one heading, and they are not interchangeable. This is how to tell which one your job needs, what it will cost to run, and what the municipality expects of you once it is installed.
