LED control modules

The module driving an LED or MULTIBEAM headlamp and deciding which elements light.

How you know it is this

  • A headlamp fault with the lamp itself apparently sound
  • One function of a lamp missing while the rest works
  • A module that does not answer on a diagnostic scan

Worth knowing before you buy

  • MUCH CHEAPER THAN THE HEADLAMP IT DRIVES, and it is a common failure. Always established before ordering a MULTIBEAM unit.
  • Sometimes mounted on the lamp and sometimes elsewhere in the car — which decides the labour.
  • Needs coding to the car.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and the fault codes. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
