How you know it is this
- A cover missing after a wash
- A jet that pops out and does not retract
- No spray, or spray in the wrong direction
- Washer fluid disappearing quickly
Worth knowing before you buy
- Legally required on xenon and LED cars in most markets, so it is not a cosmetic item.
- The small painted cover is by far the most commonly lost part and is available on its own — it needs painting to the car's colour.
- A jet that will not retract is usually the spring or grit in the mechanism.
- These share the washer pump with the screen, and a pump with two circuits can fail on one only.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number, the paint code, and left or right. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
