Also called headlight tabs, repair bracket.
How you know it is this
- A headlamp that sits proud, crooked or rattles
- A snapped mounting lug after a minor knock
- A headlamp that cannot be aligned
Worth knowing before you buy
- THIS IS THE CHEAPEST SAVE ON THIS WHOLE SYSTEM. A perfectly good headlamp with a snapped mounting tab is routinely replaced when a repair bracket costs almost nothing.
- Tabs snap in impacts far too small to damage the lamp itself, and they are the usual reason a headlamp is condemned after a light bump.
- Always worth asking before accepting a quote for a complete unit, especially on a MULTIBEAM car.
What we need to quote it. A photograph of the broken mounting, and the chassis number. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
