Pillar trims

How you know it is this

  • A trim that has lifted or come loose
  • Fading or discolouration
  • A clip broken during a repair
  • A trim that rattles

Worth knowing before you buy

  • A-pillar trims cover the curtain airbag on most cars and have specific tear-away clips. Ordinary clips are not a substitute — the airbag has to come through the trim.
  • The clips break on removal almost every time. Order them with the trim.
  • Colour and material must match the headlining and the rest of the interior.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and which pillar. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
