Gudgeon pins and circlips

The pin joining the piston to the connecting rod, and the clips that retain it.

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Supplied with pistons more often than separately.
  • Circlips are single-use. A reused one can come out, and when it does it destroys the bore.

What we need to quote it. The engine code. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
