Instrument clusters and modules

Used instrument clusters and control modules.

Worth knowing before you buy

  • WE WOULD USUALLY ADVISE AGAINST USED HERE, and it is worth saying plainly. A cluster carries the donor car's mileage and a module carries the donor car's identity. Both have to be reprogrammed, and some cannot be.
  • Anything tied to the immobiliser — the engine ECU, the EIS, the keyless modules — is matched to a specific car and its keys. A used one is generally not a repair.
  • Mileage on a replacement cluster is a legal matter and must be handled properly and documented.
  • A cluster with dead pixels or a dim backlight is frequently REPAIRABLE for less than a used one plus programming. Ask about that first.
  • Where a used module genuinely does work, confirm the part number matches exactly — a different suffix is often a different software level.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number, the exact part number off your unit, and the fault codes. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
