Worth knowing before you buy
- Bumpers change at facelift and between trim levels, and a bumper from the wrong one will not line up with the lights and wings.
- Establish whether the parking sensors, washer jet covers, brackets and fog light surrounds are included. The brackets behind the bumper are what break in an impact and they are frequently missing.
- It needs painting to your colour, and parking sensors must be painted thinly or they stop working.
- A grille or a trim strip is often the only damaged part, and those are cheap separately. Worth checking before buying a whole bumper.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number, the paint code, and a photograph of your existing bumper. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
