Air lines and fittings

The nylon pipes and push-fit connectors carrying air from the compressor and valve block to each corner.

How you know it is this

  • A slow leak that no amount of strut replacement fixes
  • A line chafed through where it passes a bracket or the subframe
  • A corner that drops only when the car is loaded or on a lock

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Cheap, and the cause of a surprising share of air suspension faults.
  • They are cut and pushed into the fitting, so a damaged run can usually be repaired in place rather than replaced end to end.
  • Check where the line passes near the exhaust or a moving arm — that is where they fail.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
