Also called splash guard, dust shield.
How you know it is this
- A light metallic ringing or scraping that changes with road speed but not with braking — usually a bent shield touching the disc
- Visible rust holes in the plate behind the wheel
Worth knowing before you buy
- Cheap, and almost always damaged during a disc change or a kerb strike rather than worn out.
- Left bent, it will wear a groove in a new disc.
- Side-specific — left and right are not the same pressing.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
