Also called wear indicator, pad sensor.
How you know it is this
- Brake pad warning on the dash with plenty of pad left — usually a broken wire or a corroded plug rather than a worn pad
- A warning that will not clear after a pad change
Worth knowing before you buy
- One-use. Once the disc has cut it, it cannot be repaired and the light stays on.
- Not every wheel has one. Most cars run one front and one rear, on opposite sides.
- Cheap on its own, and almost always worth adding to a pad order rather than paying to have the wheel off twice.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
Rest of the discs, pads and friction
