Also called Kompressor, blower.
How you know it is this
- A loss of power with no turbo fault, on a Kompressor car
- A rattle or whine from the front of the engine
- The supercharger not engaging at all — usually the clutch
Worth knowing before you buy
- The clutch is a separate item from the supercharger and fails more often. Much cheaper to replace.
- The nose bearing and its oil are serviceable on many units — a rebuild is often possible.
- Only on the Kompressor engines. If the car is turbocharged, this is not your part.
What we need to quote it. The engine code. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
