Side skirts and mouldings

The sill covers along the bottom of the doors and the protective mouldings on the door sides.

How you know it is this

  • Scuffing from kerbs or ramps
  • A moulding that has come unstuck in the heat
  • Cracked or faded plastic
  • Broken clips

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Ramps and high kerbs are what damage sills here, and AMG Line skirts sit lower and suffer more.
  • Adhesive mouldings lift in this heat. Refitting needs the panel clean and the correct tape.
  • The clips are separate and cheap, and are usually what has actually broken.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number, the paint code, and which side. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
