Door skins and repair panels

The outer skin of a door, or a partial repair section for the bottom of one.

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Much cheaper than a complete door where only the outer panel is damaged and the frame is straight.
  • A skinning job is skilled — the old skin is cut off and the new one folded over the frame — so the labour matters more than the part.
  • Only worth it where the inner frame and the hinges are sound.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and photographs of the damage. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
