Mirror covers and caps

The painted or chrome cap over the mirror housing.

How you know it is this

  • A scuffed or cracked cap
  • Peeling paint or lacquer
  • A cap lost after a knock

Worth knowing before you buy

  • The single most commonly damaged mirror part and among the cheapest.
  • Clips on, so it is a minutes-long job with no electrical work.
  • Painted to the car's colour, or available in chrome and carbon on some trims.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number, the paint code, and left or right. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
