How you know it is this
- A handle that has snapped or gone slack
- Peeling chrome
- Keyless entry working on some doors and not others
- A handle that stays pulled out
Worth knowing before you buy
- KEYLESS-GO handles contain the proximity sensor and are a different, dearer part from a plain handle. They can also fail electrically while working mechanically.
- The plastic and the chrome plating degrade in this sun, so peeling handles are common here regardless of mileage.
- The lock barrel is usually a separate part and only the driver's door has one on most cars.
- Colour-coded to the car, so painting is normally needed.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number, which door, the paint code, and whether the car has KEYLESS-GO. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
