How you know it is this
- A mirror that has fallen off the screen
- Auto-dim no longer working, or leaking fluid
- A dark patch in the glass
Worth knowing before you buy
- AUTO-DIMMING MIRRORS LEAK. The electrochromic gel escapes and leaves a dark stain, and the mirror cannot be repaired once it has.
- Mounting to the screen uses a specific adhesive and a clean, warm surface — a mirror that keeps falling off is usually a preparation problem.
- Some carry the rain sensor, the camera or the toll transponder, which makes them a bigger part than they look.
- The mount button is bonded to the glass and may come with a new windscreen.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number, and what functions the mirror has. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
