Battery modules and cells

The individual modules inside the pack, each a group of cells.

How you know it is this

  • A cell voltage deviation fault
  • Range that has fallen further than age explains
  • A pack that will not balance

Worth knowing before you buy

  • MODULE-LEVEL REPAIR IS THE CHEAPER ROUTE where the diagnosis supports it — one weak module replaced rather than the whole pack.
  • A replacement module should be matched in capacity and state of health to the rest, or the pack balances around the weakest one and the gain is small.
  • Opening a pack is specialist work under isolation. It is not a general workshop job.
  • Not every pack is designed to be opened and repaired. Which yours is decides whether this option exists at all.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and a full cell-level diagnostic report. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
