How you know it is this
- The car refusing to power up, with no other fault
- An audible clunk missing at start-up
- A high-voltage isolation or contactor fault
- A car that will not charge
Worth knowing before you buy
- They fail welded shut or refusing to close, and both are safety-relevant — a welded contactor means the pack cannot be isolated.
- Far cheaper than a pack, and a common cause of a car that simply will not power up.
- Inside the pack or its junction unit, so access needs isolation.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number and the fault codes. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
