Engine covers and undertrays

The plastic cover over the top of the engine and the trays underneath the car.

How you know it is this

  • A tray hanging down or flapping at speed
  • A rattle from under the car
  • Broken or missing clips after a service

Worth knowing before you buy

  • The undertray is not cosmetic. It manages airflow to the radiator and keeps water off the belt and the electrics.
  • Driving without one lets road water straight onto the accessory belt and the alternator.
  • The clips and fasteners are cheap and are usually what is actually missing.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number — these change with engine and facelift. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
