Drive unit mounts

The rubber and hydraulic mounts carrying the drive unit.

How you know it is this

  • A clunk on pulling away or lifting off
  • Vibration through the floor under acceleration
  • A collapsed or split mount visible from underneath

Worth knowing before you buy

  • An EV is quiet, so a failing mount is far more noticeable than it would be on a combustion car — people often think something serious has broken.
  • Cheap relative to everything else here, and a low-voltage job that any competent workshop can do.
  • The instant torque of an electric motor is hard on mounts.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
