Fan shroud

The plastic cowl around the fan that makes it pull air through the radiator instead of around it.

How you know it is this

  • Overheating at low speed with a working fan
  • A cracked or partly missing shroud
  • Fan blades that have contacted the shroud

Worth knowing before you buy

  • It is the difference between a fan that works and one that just makes noise. Removing a broken one rather than replacing it makes the overheating worse.
  • Cracks usually start at the mounting tabs.
  • Cheap, and often broken during radiator work.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
