Rain sensor bracket and gel pad

The bracket bonded to the windscreen that holds the rain sensor, and the optical gel pad between sensor and glass.

How you know it is this

  • Automatic wipers running on a dry screen after a new windscreen
  • Wipers not responding to rain
  • A visible bubble under the sensor

Worth knowing before you buy

  • THE PAD IS THE USUAL FAULT, NOT THE SENSOR. The sensor reads through the glass optically, and a single air bubble in the pad makes it see rain that is not there.
  • A few dirhams, and it is the first thing to try when automatic wipers misbehave after a screen change.
  • The bracket is bonded to the glass and normally comes with a new screen — check that it is the right one for your sensor.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
