Emblems and badges

The bonnet star, the boot badges and the model lettering.

How you know it is this

  • A missing or stolen bonnet star
  • Peeling chrome
  • A badge lost in a wash
  • Adhesive that has failed in the heat

Worth knowing before you buy

  • The bonnet star is spring-mounted so it folds in an impact. It is also the most commonly stolen part on the car.
  • Boot lettering is sold per letter or per badge and is inexpensive.
  • Adhesive badges fail in this heat. Fit them to a clean, cool panel or they lift again.
  • The grille star on cars with DISTRONIC is radar-transparent and is not the same part as an ordinary badge.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and a photograph of what is missing. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
