Bumper brackets and absorbers

The plastic brackets and slide rails that hold the bumper cover to the car, and the foam or honeycomb absorber behind it.

How you know it is this

  • A bumper sitting proud, sagging or misaligned at one corner
  • A gap that has opened between bumper and wing
  • A bumper that has come loose after a minor knock

Worth knowing before you buy

  • THESE ARE WHAT BREAK IN A SMALL IMPACT, not the bumper. A perfectly good cover is often replaced when a few brackets would have fixed it.
  • Cheap, and always worth pricing before a bumper cover.
  • The absorber is a safety part and should not be left out to save money — it is what manages a low-speed impact.
  • Side-specific.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and a photograph of the broken mounting. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
