Climate control panel

The control head in the dashboard — the buttons, the display and the control module behind them.

How you know it is this

  • A display with missing segments or gone dim
  • Buttons that need pressing hard or repeatedly
  • Settings that will not hold
  • No communication with the module on a diagnostic scan

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Display and button faults are often repairable, and a repair is usually far cheaper than a panel on an older car.
  • Usually needs coding to the car, and on some models it carries the vehicle configuration.
  • The panel is frequently blamed for what is actually a blend flap actuator. Check the actuators first if the complaint is about temperature rather than about the controls themselves.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and a photograph of the panel. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
