Also called DMF.
How you know it is this
- A rattle at idle that stops when the clutch pedal is pressed
- Judder pulling away
- A rattle on switching the engine off
- Excessive rotational play felt by hand
Worth knowing before you buy
- It is a wear item with springs inside, not a solid disc, and it cannot be machined or skimmed.
- Always with the clutch — the gearbox is out for both.
- Solid-flywheel conversions are cheaper but pass more vibration into the gearbox and the cabin. A real choice, worth making deliberately.
What we need to quote it. The engine code and the gearbox. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
Rest of the clutch (manual)
