Clutch pedal and bushes

The pedal, its pivot and the bushes it turns on.

How you know it is this

  • A creak or squeak as the pedal moves
  • A pedal that feels notchy or sticks part way
  • Lateral play in the pedal

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Worn pivot bushes make a clutch feel worse than it is, and they cost almost nothing.
  • The over-centre spring can break and leave the pedal on the floor with a perfectly healthy hydraulic system.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
