Hub carriers and knuckles

The cast upright that the hub, bearing, brake caliper and suspension arms all attach to.

How you know it is this

  • Damage after a kerb strike or an accident
  • A bearing that will not stay in because the bore has worn
  • A wheel that cannot be aligned within specification

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Structural. A cracked or bent knuckle is not something to straighten.
  • Side-specific, and often different between 4MATIC and rear-drive.
  • Usually supplied bare, so the bearing, hub and any sensors transfer across or are bought with it.

What we need to quote it. Which corner, and whether the car is 4MATIC. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
