How you know it is this
- The strip dead or partly lit
- A bulb-out warning naming the third brake light
- Water inside the unit
Worth knowing before you buy
- It is a legal requirement, so a dead one fails a test even though the main brake lights work.
- Usually a sealed LED strip, replaced complete.
- On cars where it sits in the spoiler, water ingress is the usual cause of failure.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
