Ambient lighting strips

The decorative LED strips in the doors, dashboard and footwells on cars with the ambient lighting option.

How you know it is this

  • One strip dead or a different colour from the rest
  • Strips that flicker
  • Colour that no longer changes with the selected setting

Worth knowing before you buy

  • A single dead strip is usually the strip or its connector, not the control module — and the strips are individually available.
  • Colour changing across all strips at once points at the module or the coding instead.
  • Frequently damaged during door card or trim removal, and the connectors are fragile.
  • The number of colours and zones varies by model year and option, so the chassis number matters.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and which strip. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
