Interior dome and reading lights

The roof console lamps and the individual reading lights.

How you know it is this

  • A light that does not come on with the door
  • A switch that has stopped working
  • A lens that has yellowed or a broken clip
  • Lights staying on and flattening the battery

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Lights that stay on are usually a door switch, not the lamp — and they will flatten a battery overnight.
  • The lens clips are brittle with age and break on removal. Order spares.
  • Many units carry the sunroof switch and the alarm sensor as well, which makes them a bigger part than they look.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number and a photograph. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.

Rear and interior lighting — schematic, to show where the part sits. Arrangement is right; it is a diagram and not a fitment reference.
