Tail light units

The rear light clusters, carrying brake, tail, indicator and reversing functions.

How you know it is this

  • A cracked lens or impact damage
  • Condensation inside
  • Dead LED segments
  • A bulb-out or lighting fault warning

Worth knowing before you buy

  • LED tail lights are not repairable at the diode level. A few dead segments usually means the unit.
  • Many are in two parts — one on the body and one on the bootlid — and only one may be damaged. That halves the cost, so identify which.
  • A faded or crazed lens from UV is very common here and is a replacement rather than a repair.
  • Seals perish and let water in. Condensation with an intact lens is usually the seal or a blocked vent.

What we need to quote it. A photograph, the chassis number, left or right, and body or bootlid. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
