Exhaust clamps, hangers and rubbers

The clamps joining sections and the rubber mounts hanging the exhaust from the body.

How you know it is this

  • A rattle or knock from underneath over bumps
  • The exhaust visibly hanging low or touching the body
  • A perished or torn rubber mount
  • A blow at a joint rather than from the pipe

Worth knowing before you buy

  • The cheapest part on the car and the cause of a lot of alarming noises. Always the first thing to check.
  • A broken hanger lets the exhaust hang on the flexi joint, which then fails — a small part causing an expensive one.
  • Order a set. They are the same age and the rest are usually not far behind.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
