Hose clamps and quick connectors

The clamps holding rubber hoses on, and the push-fit plastic connectors used on the newer coolant pipework.

How you know it is this

  • A weep at a joint rather than from the hose itself
  • A plastic connector that has gone brittle and snapped
  • A leak that returns after a hose change

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Plastic quick connectors are a common failure point and go brittle with heat. They break on removal as often as they fail in service.
  • Order spares whenever any coolant work is planned, or the job stops for one clip.
  • A spring clamp reused after years has lost its tension and will weep.

What we need to quote it. The engine code, and a photograph of the connector if you can. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
