How you know it is this
- A spoiler that has lifted or come loose
- Faded or peeling finish
- Cracks around the mounting points
- Water getting in where a spoiler is bolted through
Worth knowing before you buy
- Adhesive-mounted spoilers lift in this heat, and refitting needs the correct tape and a clean, cool panel.
- A spoiler bolted through the boot lid has seals at each fixing, and those are what let water in when they perish.
- Where the third brake light sits in the spoiler, water ingress kills the light as well.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number and the paint code. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
