Power steering fluid

The hydraulic fluid for the power steering system.

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Cars with ABC use ABC fluid, which is a different specification. Putting ordinary power steering fluid into an ABC system damages seals throughout.
  • Electric power steering cars have no fluid at all. If there is no reservoir, this is not your part.
  • Dark or burnt fluid means the pump is being worked hard or the system is contaminated — worth investigating rather than just topping up.

What we need to quote it. Whether the car is hydraulic, electric or ABC. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
