Seats — front and rear

Complete seats, with their frames, foam, covering and whatever motors and sensors the specification includes.

How you know it is this

  • Worn or split bolsters
  • A collapsed cushion
  • Adjustment that has failed
  • Damage after an accident

Worth knowing before you buy

  • ESTABLISH WHAT IS IN THE SEAT. Heating, ventilation, massage, memory, side airbag and occupancy sensor are all options, and a seat without yours will throw faults or simply not work.
  • A seat contains an airbag and a belt pretensioner on most cars. Disconnect the battery and allow the system to discharge before touching one.
  • Memory seats need calibrating, and the airbag system may need coding after a seat change.
  • A driver's seat from a donor car has usually done the same work as yours. Rear seats and passenger seats are far better buys.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number, which seat, and what functions it has. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
