How you know it is this
- An airbag warning naming a pretensioner
- A pretensioner that has fired in an accident
Worth knowing before you buy
- PYROTECHNIC. It contains an explosive charge, and it has handling, transport and disposal rules. It is not a casual DIY part.
- Once fired it cannot be reset and must be replaced.
- Often integrated with the buckle or the reel rather than separate.
- The airbag module usually has to be reset or replaced at the same time, and coded.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number, which seat, and the fault codes. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
