Fuel pressure sensor

The sensor on the rail telling the engine what pressure the fuel is actually at.

How you know it is this

  • A rail pressure fault code
  • Limp mode with no mechanical symptom
  • A car that starts and stalls

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Cheap next to a pump, and a faulty sensor makes a healthy pump look faulty. Always worth ruling out first.
  • The live reading compared against the commanded pressure is what separates a sensor fault from a pump fault.

What we need to quote it. The engine code and the fault codes. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
