Lion Yard Trading is an authorised Permatex distributor in the UAE. We hold all 54 lines in our own warehouse at Al Quoz 4, Dubai, supplied genuine in Permatex's own packaging with the manufacturer's warranty intact, and we will send our authorisation letter to any buyer who asks for it.

Why it matters that we are authorised

The UAE has a real counterfeit problem in exactly these products. In June 2020 Ajman’s Department of Economic Development shut down a factory and seized around 100,000 units of fake engine oil worth Dh20 million, sold under the names of international brands. In 2024 Al-Futtaim Automotive seized over 2.5 million counterfeit components across twenty raids, worth AED 7.46 million — up 116% on 2021 — and the largest single category was oil filters.

Fake stock does not announce itself. It looks right in the bottle, it is cheaper, and you find out at the next service or the next engine. Buying through an authorised distributor is how you take that risk off the table: Permatex product comes through the manufacturer’s own supply chain, into our warehouse in Al Quoz 4, and out to you.

Permatex is the workshop chemical range: RTV silicone gasket makers in Ultra Black, Ultra Blue, Ultra Grey and Ultra Copper, threadlockers in blue and red, anti-seize, dielectric and lithium greases, brake and parts cleaners, Spray Nine degreasers and Fast Orange hand cleaner.

Worth knowing. The colour is the specification. Ultra Black is the flexible oil-resistant one, Ultra Grey is for high torque and vibration, and Ultra Copper is the high-temperature silicone for turbos and exhausts at up to 700 °F (371 °C).
