Eveready at Lion Yard
Lion Yard Trading is an authorised Eveready distributor in the UAE. We hold all 24 lines in our own warehouse at Al Quoz 4, Dubai, supplied genuine in Eveready's own packaging with the manufacturer's warranty intact, and we will send our authorisation letter to any buyer who asks for it.
Why it matters that we are authorised
The UAE has a real counterfeit problem in exactly these products. In June 2020 Ajman’s Department of Economic Development shut down a factory and seized around 100,000 units of fake engine oil worth Dh20 million, sold under the names of international brands. In 2024 Al-Futtaim Automotive seized over 2.5 million counterfeit components across twenty raids, worth AED 7.46 million — up 116% on 2021 — and the largest single category was oil filters.
Fake stock does not announce itself. It looks right in the bottle, it is cheaper, and you find out at the next service or the next engine. Buying through an authorised distributor is how you take that risk off the table: Eveready product comes through the manufacturer’s own supply chain, into our warehouse in Al Quoz 4, and out to you.

Eveready is the carbon zinc range — Super Heavy Duty and Heavy Duty cells in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V, supplied in blisters, shrink packs, ten and eighteen-cell counter strips and the 4+2 and 15+5 promotional packs. There are also metal LED torches and a rechargeable 5-LED torch.

Worth knowing. Carbon zinc and alkaline are not the same battery at a different price. Carbon zinc suits low-drain work — remote controls, wall clocks, simple torches — and is the economical choice there. In anything high-drain, a camera, a motorised toy or a site radio, it runs flat quickly and alkaline is the right specification. Eveready is Energizer's sister brand and the two are sold side by side, but the packaging and the chemistry differ, so order by the name on the box.
