About the brand

Energizer at Lion Yard

Lion Yard Trading is an authorised Energizer distributor in the UAE. We hold all 99 lines in our own warehouse at Al Quoz 4, Dubai, supplied genuine in Energizer's own packaging with the manufacturer's warranty intact, and we will send our authorisation letter to any buyer who asks for it.

Why it matters that we are authorised

The UAE has a real counterfeit problem in exactly these products. In June 2020 Ajman’s Department of Economic Development shut down a factory and seized around 100,000 units of fake engine oil worth Dh20 million, sold under the names of international brands. In 2024 Al-Futtaim Automotive seized over 2.5 million counterfeit components across twenty raids, worth AED 7.46 million — up 116% on 2021 — and the largest single category was oil filters.

Fake stock does not announce itself. It looks right in the bottle, it is cheaper, and you find out at the next service or the next engine. Buying through an authorised distributor is how you take that risk off the table: Energizer product comes through the manufacturer’s own supply chain, into our warehouse in Al Quoz 4, and out to you.

Energizer covers the cells a site or an office actually gets through: MAX and MAX PLUS alkaline in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V, Alkaline Power in the smaller blisters, Ultimate Lithium for cold and high-drain work, and the lithium coins — CR2032, CR2025, CR2016, CR1616 and CR1632 — that run key fobs, scales and alarm panels. Beyond the common sizes there are the miniature alkalines (LR44, A23, A27, N, AAAA) and the camera lithiums (CR123A, CR2, 2CR5, 223/CR-P2), the Recharge Power Plus and Recharge Extreme NiMH range with its Mini, Maxi and Universal chargers, and LED torches, headlamps, lanterns and inspection lights.

Worth knowing. The cell size is the only thing that makes a battery unusable if it is wrong, and it is printed on the cell you are replacing — read it rather than measuring. Two distinctions are worth knowing: a 3 V lithium coin is sized by its own number, so a CR2032 and a CR2025 differ only in thickness and are not interchangeable in a tight holder; and alkaline is the one to specify for anything high-drain, because carbon zinc is a low-drain chemistry and will not last in it.
