ABC pulsation damper

A smaller accumulator on the pump outlet whose only job is to absorb the pressure pulses the pump makes.

How you know it is this

  • A hum or drone from the engine bay that varies with revs
  • Vibration felt through the floor at idle

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Cheap relative to the rest of ABC and often the cause of a noise blamed on the pump.
  • Worth renewing whenever the pump is replaced.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
