How you know it is this
- Regeneration not working, or stuck at one level
- Paddle-selected regeneration levels having no effect
- A regen or drive system fault
Worth knowing before you buy
- Loss of regeneration is often normal behaviour, not a fault — a full battery or a very cold one cannot accept charge, so the car reduces regen deliberately. In this climate the full-battery case is the common one.
- Frequently integrated with the drive control unit rather than a separate part.
- Coded to the car.
- Worth confirming the car is not simply doing what it is designed to do before ordering anything.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number, the fault codes, and the battery state of charge when it happens. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
