Handbrake lever and adjuster

The lever or foot pedal itself, its ratchet and the adjuster that takes up cable slack.

How you know it is this

  • A lever that will not hold its ratchet
  • A broken release button
  • No adjustment left in the cable

Worth knowing before you buy

  • Most 'worn handbrake' complaints are cable stretch or worn shoes, not the lever. Check those first.
  • The adjuster is often a separate, cheap item from the lever assembly.

What we need to quote it. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
